We have self catering Gite or Holiday apartments which can accommodate between 4 and 9 people in a traditional old French Farmhouse with swimming pool. For people requiring larger and more exclusive accommodation for their holiday in France we have two large detached properties La Doliniere accommodates 16 people comfortably with its own private swimming pool ideal for larger parties or the Pool House which is a 4 bedroomed Swiss style bungalow with a swimming pool, Jacuzzi and hot tub shared with just one other Gite. Some of our accommodation is suitable for the mildly disabled as your holiday accommodation is on ground level with easy access to your car. La Doliniere actually has a total of five downstairs bedrooms three of these have extra wide doors for wheel chair access these bedrooms also have their own lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom and W.C. The Loire Valley in France has some wonderful cities and you are lucky enough to be able to visit them with a easy drive and each is certainly worth a days excursion from your holiday in France, Saumur is around 30 minutes drive from both the houses and the gites and so is Angers, but in the opposite direction both Saumur and Angers are Jewels in the Loire Valley crown and are cities to make visitors to France pleased they came and wished they had visited before. The Gites, apartments and houses are lovely but wait until you sample the food in the cafes and restaurants around the area then eating out seems preferable to self catering. The Loire Valley is also called the Garden of France and visitors will see why when they visit this beautiful region of France. Don't forget the Le Mans 24 hour endurance race is in June and is only 45 miles away from our holiday gite accommodation on good fast roads. Combine a weeks holiday in the Loire Valley France with visiting Le Mans for the 24 Hour endurance race. Travelling time from the Gites is 45 minutes to one hour comfortably but people staying with us have done this a lot quicker (but don't tell the Gendarmes).
